What is Power Flushing?
Over time, central heating systems accumulate sludge (magnetite) from corroding pipework and radiators. This settles in radiators, causing cold spots, and can damage pump impellers and heat exchangers.
Power flushing uses high-velocity water flow combined with chemicals to remove this debris. The result is a cleaner, more efficient system — radiators that heat evenly, lower gas bills and extended boiler life.
We recommend power flushing before any new boiler installation if the existing system is more than 10 years old. A magnetic system filter is then fitted to prevent future buildup.
